OUR BOOKSHELVES

Transparency:

The public school system often excludes and dismisses the struggles of women, people of color, the lgtqia+ community, as well as other minorities, forcing its students to engage in curricula that contain no relevance to them, their identities, and their interests. 

Opportunity:

Create a library that is inclusive, critically engaging/challenging, and pertinent to students today

Strategy:

Research and curate books, films, and other devices based off of categories such class  struggle, critical theory, race, women/feminist text, activism, effects of colonialism, and various others

Transformation:

 Create a space were people can learn about inclusive and vigorous topics that are relevant and intruinging
